Uphill happiness
From Valles head towards the Fane Alm until you reach the Brixner Hütte: this tour is a true AUI favourite. It involves a steady uphill climb, but you are rewarded with magnificent scenery and plenty of flow.

There may be a 900-metre altitude difference, but it is worth every single one. The countryside opens up gradually, the air becomes clearer and the view wider. This tour is balm to body and soul. Whether you use e-power or muscle power, once you find yourself at the Brixner Hütte, everything feels just fine. Plus you will be proud of yourself! So, hop on your bike, start pedalling and let's go on our favourite bike tour in the Gitschberg Jochtal!

The starting point is the free car park at the Jochtal cable car station in Valles. Set off towards the end of the valley and from there follow the direction of Fane Alm until you reach the Brixner Hütte. The last section is steeper but easily manageable for experienced mountain bikers. Alternatively, you can push your bike for a short distance. The return journey is a relaxed ride along the same route.
Duration: approx. 4 hours, length: approx. 16.3 km, altitude difference: approx. 900 m, difficulty: medium.
